Andrew Shue and Amy Robach Are Married

Andrew Shue and Amy Robach are married! The former Melrose Place star and Weekend Today anchor were married Saturday afternoon in New York City after engagement in last September at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.

The couple are recently divorce and both have children, Shue has three sons and Robach has two daughters

“The wedding was absolutely beautiful,” a Today show rep, who attended the ceremony, tells PEOPLE. “Amy and Andrew were beaming.”

As for the reception, the rep says, “The decor was simple and there were lots of candles. The guest list was fairly small. They wanted an intimate feel with close friends and family.”

There were 120 guests who were invited at the ceremony, including Elizabeth and Davis Guggenheim, the director of 2006’s An Inconvenient Truth, Meredith Vieira, Ann curry, Kathie Lee Gifford, Rick Kaplan and Contessa Brewer.

The wedding was considered unique, as they presented a birthday cake instead of a wedding cake. They also didn’t accept “any gift” as they asked guests to give them their two favorite songs: a dance and a love song. This “gifts” were played all night long. The honeymoon is going to take place on Mexico on Sunday. Congratulations to Andrew Shue and Amy Robach. Wish you a happy marriage.
