Jim Plunkett is now hot on the net because of the number 1 pick in the 1971 draft. Thanks to the Super Bowls winning. When Al Davis (Oakland) picked him out. Herring saying,

Jim W. “Jim” Plunkett was born in 1947 in San Jose, California. His parents are a combo between Mexico and American, but he also got his Irish-German blood from his great grandfather. He played college football for Standford University when he won a Heisman Trophy while also playing professionally for Oaklan/Los Angeles Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots. He won two Super Bowls as a quarterback, leading the Raiders to their victory.
Plunkett gift was found when he showed his skills in a throwing contest at the age of 14 with a throw of over 60 yards. Before joining the team, he worked as a labourer, grocery store clerk, and gas station attendant to make a living and support his blind mother and progressively blind father.
