Katy Mixon on Eastbound and Down Season One
Eastbound and Down Season One was released to DVD on June 23rd 2009 starring Katy Mixon and Danny Mcbride.
The story is about a washed up baseball picher named Kenny Powers (Danny Mcbride) and a former high school sweetheart April Buchanon (Katy Mixon). Kenny Powers returned to his hometown to live with his brother and worked as a gym teacher at a middle school after he had lost his baseball career. Will Ferrell also plays a little bit as a car dealer Ashley Schaeffer.
Eastbound and Down is crude comedy and intended for a mature audience as it contains a lot of foul words from Powers as his supporting characters, and also because it is potrayed a dark picture of a drug addled ex ball player plus a professional jerk.
