Another sad news from music world, Kimberly Wyatt quits Pussycat Dolls. Apparently her decision was made related to where they performing together last year and she went public with an anger at Nicole Scherzinger’s special treatment.
“She (Scherzinger) was one of the last to join. But we’d have to share a dressing room while Nicole would have her own. We’d be on the tour bus together but she wouldn’t come on and would get her own transport.”
Robin Antin, the band’s founder reports that the group had split in November 2009 and saying:
“ThePussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements.”
Poor Pussycat Dolls fans as she won’t be returning to the group when they end their hiatus.
She tells Loaded magazine, “I’ve left the group. I am so thankful for everything the Pussycat Dolls (have) brought into my life. But I have to say there were just too many variables that I couldn’t agree with and I had to follow my heart. So I decided to kind of push on with my own life.
“Money and fame can’t buy happiness. Ultimately I think that happiness is the most important thing in life and I think that once I started to get to know myself more and more I was like, ‘You know, I don’t think that happiness is within this group right now’.
“I wish that it was different because I love what we do on stage. I love being a Doll, but as far as the variables off-stage are concerned – I just couldn’t do it anymore.”
Looks like a special treatment like that could bring a disaster for a group band. I wonder if she would do solo like Nicole. Let’s see about that very soon.
