Krista Lackey – John Lackey’s Wife Tells About Red Sox
Krista Lackey, John Lackey’s wife has spoken to press today. She laughed about seeing Red Sox hats around home when she was young. Now she will see more, because John has been introduced to the team with $83 million!
She told a story to the press that when she and John were just dating, she had to tell her family members to hide the Red Sox hats away.
“Back in the day my family definitely used to wear their Red Sox hats around us and it was like, ’Hey now, wait a minute,’ It’s a good thing they didn’t get rid of it all. They shoved it in the back of their closets, and now they can take it out again.”
Lackey will reportedly early $18 million next season, $3.5 million now as a signing bonus, and $15.25 million for the subsequent four years. Grand total : $82.5 million!
