Lindsay Lohan in Car Accident

Lindsay Lohan, an actress and fashion designer was involved in a car accident. Strangely, Lohan was not behind the wheel of the BMW that hit a celebrity gossip photographer when leaving The Hotel Cafe, according to TMZ. So she was not driving nor drunk! An LAPD rep confirmed to E! News Sunday:

“Her car was involved in an incident last night. A report was generated,” the rep said. “There is an investigation. That’s all we can confirm at this time.”

Her driver is reported to be under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon. You might remember that the 23-year-old girl has quite some history on car crashes, like those in Last May, when she was riding shotgun after her driver crashed into a wall outside a hotel. In 2007, she was dealing with DUI charges and car chase charges.

Well, it’s a good thing Lindsay Lohan knows good lawyers.
