Miss Arkansas 2009 is Sarah Slocum, Miss Ouachita River. She won the Preliminary Presence and Poise in Evening Gown Preliminary award; Because of this, she received an $20,000 scholarship provided by Ted and Shannon Boy Skokos and more than $50,000 in awards, wardrobe, transportation, and gifts.
Sarah Slocum is a 23-year-old who is attending law school at the University of Arkansas. She is attending her second year. Slocum is from Sheridan. Here are the moments of crowning, she looks stunning with the prom dress, don’t you think?
