Missing Pills Led to Doctor Hunting in Brittany Murphy Death

Brittany Murphy had a medication when she died in December. Eventhough her death was caused by an accident, but there is something strange about her med. The actress got a prescription for 120 hydrocodone (Vicodin) pills just 11 days before her death, but when she died, only 11 pills left.

The L.A. County Coroner’s Office can’t find the doctor who prescribed the pills and are currently on the hunt to find him. According to Coroner’s report, the medication is supposed to be taken max four times a day. But since 109 of the pills were missing from the bottle when she died, only 44 should have been gone if Brittany had maxed out on the prescription.

Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack when asked by a member of the Coroner’s Office to find the doctor who prescribed the meds was not any help. We will find out what really happen to Brittany when the missing doctor is found.

Updates: Radar Online has a report on this and apparently this is not a true report. Sharon (Brit’s mother) was the one with the prescription for nerve damage from radiation and chemo.
