Rebecca Creskoff was born in Philadelphia. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she pursued her passion into acting when she realized that she loved acting and decided to make acting as a career. The breakthrough was when she was accepted into New York University’s MFA acting program.
Her first breaking debut was on Steve Martin’s off-Broadway playing Einstein’s girlfriend. She is currently appearing in August Strindberg’s play Miss Julie at the Berkshire Theater Festival. She turned into comedy acts when she got her first television role on The Cosby Show. She discovered that sitcom is more like theater – impromptu and very in-the-moment. But after her appearances on The Cosby Show, she played on The West Wing, The Practice, Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Ironically she was being a serious and dramatic characters.
She enjoys spending time working on the New York Times crossword puzzle when she is not working. She also enjoys running and practicing yoga.
