The Sound of Music – Based on True Story of the Von Trapp Family Singers

The Sound of Music is a classic family film that based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers, Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer star. ABC is showing this classic film on this holiday, but be warned, it’s a five-hour movie (commercials included).

The Sound of Music is the best musical ever written, especially the way it’s presented in the film. It has the right mix of music, song and drama. Plus it’s got romance, adventure, Nazis and other thriller stuff. Don’t miss those singing nuns and kids wearing clothes made out of ugly drapes too.

The film is good for kids and family, especially when the whole family is around.
